Wiggly Winners!!

Some time ago the farm's bank manager encouraged Wiggly Wigglers to enter the British Small Business Champion Awards run by the Federation of Small Business and Lloyds TSB.
They were looking for all well-run small enterprises that had been in operation for at least five years, employing fewer than 50 people and offering excellent customer service.
We thought we would give it a go and on Wednesday night we were at the awards for the finalists from the Central region. Over 70 companies had entered and we were down to the last six which were:
Bambino Mio: The UK's leading supplier of cotton reusable nappies, employing over 25 people and supplying 20 countries around the world.
DRP Group: A group with enormous client loyalty offering a wide range of presentation and communication solutions for a diverse range of corporate markets accros the globe expanding its key divisions of event, video, and interative production.
Fogarty Formal Hire: They looked wonderful at the dinner in full bow tie attire, Fogarty adopts a modern approach to formal hire and one of them in fact is a Wiggly customer - finding us at Chelsea Flower Show!
Flooringsupplies.co.uk a customer focused wooden and vinyl floor retailer and wholesaler.
The Rooms: Another Heather. The rooms provides a range of spa and beauty treatments both on site and mobile at exhibitions and events. They have set up a training school in partnership with North Hertfordshire college and has trained many award winning students.
and finally:
Wiggly Wigglers, which I described as a cross between the Darling Buds of May and a Haynes Motor Manual! Providing a vision of how your garden could look- bursting with colour and buzzing with wildlife and then providing step by step instructions of how to turn that vision into reality.....
and we.........won!
Congratulations from me to all the finalists - I think we all enjoyed the evening, and also to each and every member of the Wiggly Team here at Blakemere: In the office Rachel, San, Richard, Nicky, Jo and Alison and in despatch Jodie, Noelle, Maggie, Sylv, Ricky and Wendy. Well done, and welcome back to Ann on Monday.
Jonathan Davies - the Welsh Rugby player and BBC commentator presented us with the trophy. (By the way he asked the waitress what the vegetarian was, and she honestly answered "its a person who doesn't eat meat.....sir")
We now go through to the National Final at Claridges in November so it sounds like an even better tea party!
