How to Use Your Worm Compost

Worm compost can be added to any type of soil, including potting mix, garden soil, and even flowerpots. Simply add a handful of compost to each planting hole before adding your seedlings or plants. If you don't have access to a worm bin, you can still make your own worm compost by mixing together half a cup of dried grass clippings, 1 tablespoon of bone meal, and a little bit of water. Mix these ingredients together well and let sit for two weeks. After two weeks, pour off the liquid portion and dry the mixture. Add this to your worm bin and allow it to cure for at least six months before using it in your garden.
