Product Overview:

Flutter Butter Buggy (330g) is a specially formulated peanut butter designed to meet the energy needs of wild birds. Enriched with dried insects, this no-salt blend provides essential nutrition to help birds thrive during the most challenging times of the year.

Easy to use and incredibly versatile, Flutter Butter Buggy is perfect for feeding from Flutter Butter feeders or spreading directly onto tree bark or feeding stations. Whether you’re an avid bird enthusiast or simply enjoy welcoming feathered visitors to your garden, this is an essential addition to your wildlife-friendly space.

Why Choose Flutter Butter Buggy?

  • Energy-Rich Formula: Provides essential sustenance, particularly during winter and breeding seasons.

  • Protein Boost for Birds: The addition of dried insects makes this ideal for supporting growth and muscle development in young birds.

  • Attracts a Variety of Birds: Robins, blue tits, finches, and sparrows all love it – your garden will come alive with activity!

  • Safe and Nutritious: Free from salt, ensuring it’s 100% bird-safe and packed with goodness.

How to Use Flutter Butter Buggy:

  1. With a Flutter Butter Feeder: Screw the jar directly into the feeder and hang it in a safe spot, such as near hedges or trees.

  2. Spread on Surfaces: Apply a small amount to tree bark, feeding stations, or even a flat surface for an easy snack.

  3. Keep It Fresh: Check regularly, especially in warm weather, and replace as needed to ensure your birds get the freshest feed.

Wiggly Tips for Better Bird Feeding:

  • Position Feeders Safely: Hang feeders in sheltered areas, away from predators, and close to bushes or trees for quick escape routes.

  • Offer Fresh Water: Birds need water for drinking and bathing – a simple birdbath can make your garden even more inviting.

  • Rotate Feeding Spots: Move feeders occasionally to prevent ground build-up of seed husks and droppings, keeping the area clean.

  • Complement with Other Feeds: Pair Flutter Butter Buggy with seeds or suet balls to attract a wider variety of birds.

The Importance of Feeding Wild Birds:

Supporting wild birds is crucial for biodiversity, especially in the colder months or during breeding seasons when natural food sources are limited. Flutter Butter Buggy helps:

  • Boost Energy Levels: High protein and fat content sustain birds during high-energy periods.

  • Encourage Biodiversity: Attracts different species, creating a lively and balanced ecosystem.

  • Support Nesting and Breeding: Provides essential nutrients for developing chicks and their hardworking parents.
